When John Lennon said that life is what happens while you’re making other plans, he could easily have been talking about creating a website! The plan to develop and launch a website for my professional translation business has been a long-standing item on my To Do list. Yet life and work kept ‘happening’, with one busy season merging into the next. Annual report followed quarterly report, until over 20 years had passed, and my pixelated image was still awaiting a much-needed makeover on Xing and LinkedIn! And then came the coronavirus pandemic and – for a moment at least – the world seemed to turn a little more slowly than before. But even when the world slows down, we never stop learning and doing new things, so this was a perfect opportunity to finally invest some time in creating my brand logo, refreshing my social media channels and building an online presence in the form of a website. Thank you to Margaret and Meg and all the team at https://websitesfortranslators.co.uk/webdesign/ as well as to https://www.greiss-uebersetzen-texten.de/ and https://www.astridruta.com/ for their invaluable contributions. You can check out the new website at www.tararussell.ie. Or connect with me on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tara-russell) or Xing (https://www.xing.com/profile/Tara_Russell/cv )
I look forward to your feedback!
